Critical illness seems to have become a hotly debated topic again recently with some commenting favourably on the continued extension of the list of conditions covered but others suggesting that the product has passed its sell by date.

Why could an F for fluffy be key for protection?
As a marketer I have often been described by actuarial colleagues as ‘the guy that does the fluffy’ stuff. Well it turned out that ‘fluffy’ was the word of the day at the recent, excellent, Protection Review Conference held at the Landmark Hotel in London.
