I am Managing Director of Bright Grey and Scottish Provident. Given my background in marketing, product development and PR I want to let you know that we will continue to provide advisers with marketing and advice tools to help you grow your protection business. I’ve been developing and marketing financial services products for nearly 20 years. I was one of the founder members of the management team of Bright Grey, the protection business built from scratch by The Royal London Group in 2003. Before that I was head of product marketing with Scottish Provident where I was co-inventor of the protection menu’ product, which is now an industry standard. Things have come full circle now that Scottish Provident is owned by Royal London. I am well known for using social media to promote the need for protection insurance – you can find me on Twitter and Linkedin. I am a frequent press commentator and have also chaired and spoken at many conferences in the UK, Europe and the US. I am currently a member of the ABI Protection Strategy Committee. Outside work, I am a qualified fitness instructor and Yoga teacher. You can find me teaching Body Combat, Body Balance, Hatha Yoga and Power Yoga in clubs around Edinburgh.
